Whew…new tree form…Interesting, huh? Still not thrilled about growing a goatee and a beard when I switch into ToL. Also, I know its only live on Beta right now, but we all know its coming! Almost a little sad that I won’t get to keep my autumn leaves either! Tauren have green leaves!
Anyway, Blizzcon was amazing. I got to meet a lot of awesome Blizzard employees, like Glenn Rane (I totally acted all stalkerish around him, I’m sure he thinks I’m insane), and Samwise, and Chris Metzen! I actually gave all three of them issue 1 of the DQ comic book. I also learned that I am really shy when it comes to meeting people. I found it really hard to give out those buttons, but luckily Weoh is a lot better at it. Anyway, I plan to do an actual blizzcon write up, but I’m also really bad at these things and I’m super busy so no promises! But I have some pics to share!
Because I was so bad at handing out buttons at blizzcon, I have a few of them left! So from now until I run out, when you order anything at the DQ Store I’ll throw in a free random button! Anyway! I’m out for this week! Laters all!

It might be worth pointing out that they’re adding a minor glyph to have tree form use the old model. Don’t know if it’ll still have the autumn leaves, but I’m guessing so.
Anyway, it’s too bad I couldn’t get tickets to Blizzcon, I would’ve loved to see you guys in person.

And any old school resto Druid will have it, I assure you.
My Druid is only off spec resto, and I’ll be swapping out Glyph of Dash for the vintage tree glyph. :P

You got that coming Fuzzy… DON’T MESS WITH TREES! Especially since they’re actually supposed to keep you alive! There’s nothing worse than a tree with a grudge. (When you’re tank, anyway! A rogue with a grudge TotT’ing a DPS or healer IS worse! And you didn’t hear that from me!)
And indeed, it’ll be a tough choice: Ye Ole ridiculous tree form with lolcats dance or new hulking treeform?
just a simple macro to dispell MD/TotT from yourself, having it on your most used spell and you are safe (BT raid tested :P)
But no macro, will stop healer with grudge!!!
Somehow I figured new tree form would be a good fit for Grumpy Tree (after the initial shock).
And I’ve noticed Fuzzy Tank breaks the fourth wall a lot… =P
My first reaction to new tree form graphic was “So.. grumpy tree is still grumpy”

The new tree form wouldn’t be so bad if it was like kitty or bear forms when you pick the color of hair and it coincides with the fur color.
Or, if they could do a non-bearded form for female druids.

I suppose it is a bit disconcerting for female druids to suddenly sprout a beard of leaves in tree form, but the thing that’s always bugged me is that female tauren have a mane in cat form. I could be wrong, but I’m fairly certain that female lions in the real world don’t have manes. (Granted, they also don’t have horns, tusks, or the ability to emit glowing magical purple fire before tearing apart their pray, but I digress.)
Blizzard really needs to devote more attention to the sexual dimorphism of the druids’ forms.
But… sexual dimorphism in druid forms isn’t nearly as appealing to Blizzard as having the same armor cover half as much of a female character. :P
Well, at least Grumpy started being grumpy again ans stopped being emo tree.
I think that most serious PvPers will probably stick with the old tree form. Since it seems to be a LOT smaller. >.>
