Not that Fyre would ever want to really give up any of her mounts anyway, but this makes Fluffy the Gnome-eater all the better! This is a follow up to the One More For The Road comic done a few weeks ago.
Also, can I just say that I LOVE that they made all mounts a certain speed based on your mount skill? I was lucky enough to get a Blood-Bathed Frostbrood Vanquisher so I already had a 310 mount (I had three 310 mounts actually!) but that meant I didn’t have to pay for the highest tier of riding! And the best part? The addon Mounted which randomly summons a mount every time you click the macro, now uses ALL the mounts, instead of just the fastest mount available!
Sure, I could have told it to randomly give me any of my mounts, but come on! When you CAN ride at 310, you don’t WANT to ride at 280! But I love it because I can finally see some of my mounts that I haven’t seen in a long time! Even the old level 20 mounts are making it back into my rotation and its great! I had the Magnificent Flying Carpet come up and I was thrilled! I’m so glad to be seeing these old mounts again! ^_^
Now, I know a few of you have asked where Vas and I will be during Blizzcon (Fuzzy Tank will be there too!). Well, if you’ve been before, you KNOW that its impossible to find anyone randomly (except for last year when I randomly ran into a co-worker I had worked with a year before. WEIRD!), anyway, we wanted to give people a chance to meet up if they could, and snag a free Daily Quest 1 inch Button, we will be at the Realm Meet Up Area at 12:00pm on Friday, Oct 22. So come over if you have the chance and say hi! We’re only planning on being there for about half an hour though, since there’s some panels we want to catch at 1pm. I’ll be giving out buttons randomly throughout Blizzcon as well, until I run out, so who knows! You might still get one even if you can’t meet up!
Anyway, Blizzcon next week! I’m so excited! I wish I could go right now! I can’t wait to see all my old friends again and just be in that whole gamer geek environment! Its gonna be great! :D

On an unrelated note, Fyre, I am starting to get a general idea of how you draw female characters, and I am liking it :) I think you’ve mentioned multiple times that the art in some other webcomics is better in this or that area – but I find yours one of the best drawn (LFG, The Phoenix Requiem, and Complex Actions being the other ones – all of which I recommend).
This being said, have fun on BlizzCon! I am going to miss it AGAIN because of busy school and finances… But I’ll totally cheer you all up from home!

I just noticed that today while playing. Oh, you clever Blizzard jerks, I just got done grinding gold for my Mechano-hog, now they’re going to make me grind for another 5k gold just to get the überspeed training. *Shakes fist*
Ah, well. The comic is funny, of course, displaying y’all’s naturally good comedic flavor pertaining to the game universe. I especially love the fact that Frye wants to keep the mount because it eats gnomes… Lord knows I’d have the same reaction. “Wait… It eats gnomes? SOLD!” :D

If by any chance you collect companion pets as well as mounts, you might want to try the addon GupPet. It gives you buttons to summon random mini pets and random mounts, and there’s a Cataclysm version available that you can use for Patch 4.0.
On that note, I’m loving getting to use my old lvl 20 mounts again, but … I missed my window of opportunity to get a 310% speed mount, so now I have to fork over the gold if I want the increased flying speed, even if I do get any of the pre-patch 310% mounts. That kind of sucks, especially considering that I have an army of alts that I need to get Artisan Flying for.

Blizz fixed Long Strange Trip so it gives the 310% skill as part of the reward now if you are close to that. :)

I love your art. It’s great that you got the mount achievement. When Cataclysm comes out, my Worgen warrior is going to feast on Deep Fried Goblin Twinkies.

I always thought it was funny that they award you certain milestones with like things. Get 100 mounts, you are awarded with another mount, get 75 pets, you get another pet, you get 9000 achievement points and you get… another achievement.
I am so close to getting Over 9000 too >: | But with this latest patch a couple things when FoS so I LOST points! Growl

I used to like Horde in Warcraft 3. But somehow I hate them in WoW, I don’t really know why… Oh wait, undeads. Yeh, that is.

And you interpretation of a dragonhawk is STILL awesome. I suspect it’s the fact that it has pupils (granted, full eye coverage style ones like unto small animals) rather than those soulless glowy-eyes that Blizzard seems to love giving everything these days… on that note, if the playable Worgen in Cataclysm only have soulless glowy-eyes, I’m going to be ticked. SUPERNOVA!
(Notice: Please don’t point out the irony of me ranting about soulless glowy-eyes and having a Night Elf Druid. Besides, Night Elves have an excuse… too much moon juice and living in sparkly, color-saturated forests =P ).

I wasn’t playing during Naxx : ( I was living in China! =O
Failboats all messed up my Undying/Immortal attempts.
Main tank was “too busy paying attention to other people” on Naxx, died to Void Zone.
Hunter didn’t move fast enough, died to void zone.
The guild I was in at the time failed at immortal. The Thaddeus jump is difficult, :(.
Also, due to rigorous testing (and ample supply of sacrifices) I’ve found Goblins to be slightly more nutritious then Gnomes. Apparently even mounts love their greens!
You should sell the buttons. I want a Grumpy Tree button for my bag!

Yeah, I started recently using Mounted/Critters, and Mounted just owns now since it brings back some of the cooler, lesser-used flying mounts back (such as the Twilight Drake, which might be my favorite non-Mimiron’s Head flier). Hooray for mounts! Wonder if I can hit 100 on Tuhandyn before Cata…
