This is one of those rare instances where Vas actually stops to think “hey, maybe this isn’t such a good idea to go running off into that thing…” Good thing Fyre is there to remove that fear! Fyre does make it a habit to get Vas killed in all sorts of fun and creative ways! Some of you might notice a Shadow’s Edge in Vas’ hands. Yes, our healing paladin has a Shadow’s Edge (hes got a good ret spec too!). He reaped his 1000th soul this week! Hopefully he’ll actually be able to finish a legendary this time…we don’t talk about the bindings of the windseeker…

Other than that, theres a couple of new drawings I’ve done recently. One is a Hellboy Sketch I was commissioned to do at the CCEE, and another is a redraw I had to do of another commission from the CCEE when it became apparent that I fail with markers!

But of course! Just this week I tried to kill Vas when I got the Swarming Shadows right as Blood Queen Lana’thel died I ran straight for vas to put the shadows down where he was looting! He didn’t die though >: /
If you want revenge, do what I do.
Take him for a ride in your choppa (make sure it’s gnomish made), and when he least suspects it, jump out of the Dalaran sewer pipe and slow fall yourself.
Or leviate, priestly thing that we mages cannot accomplish. D:<
Wouldn’t work though. Vas is a pally – he’d just bubble at the last second.

Thats how I got my hunter friend killed when he wanted to torment a bunch of bloodelf newbies. He camped them for a good while I come duel him to 1hp and then out of no where a bloodelf priest lvl 7 comes running out of no where. He tries targeting him but no it was too late! The smack crit him for 1hp and down he went. The bloodelves on our server never cheered so much except for that moment. The moment when a lvl 7 killed a lvl 80.
Grats on Shadows’ Edge, Vas. I’m still working on getting Saronite for the first leg of the quest… I’m up to 1 so far. >.>

Oh yes Fyre tries to kill people on a daily basis. I was going for a ride in the 2 person nether rocket and managed to not get ejected though. It’s only a matter of time I’m afraid ;)

on my DK on darkspear can solo his sorry butt he hits me like a total wimp and is easily solable to an 80
PS when i killed him my guildie didnt belive it and i told him he dropped 50g *note he only droped like 25s* he goes there solos him and comes back and wants to kill me =3
BTW vas i hate u -.- i need 200 souls more BUUUUUT i bet you dont no how to drive the abom suit like me muhahahahahaha cause u have to drive the suit to get shadow infusion :D
Whether or not you can solo Thrym isn’t exactly the point of the comic! Aaaaand I know how to eat slime, regurgitate ooze, and all kinds of other neat tricks like biting people and getting breathed on!

I am still trying to get the blood for Shadow’s Edge… My pugs… get to Saurfang then they quit right after. Not even an attempt at the other wings, we blow through the first four bosses then. Okay yeah were done no way we can do the rest. Even with an amazing group, insane dps, no wipes, even when things went bad. I HAVEN’T EVEN GOTTEN THE FREEBIE BADGE FROM THAT VALKRIE MINI BOSS! I hate my server, so much…
Now we need another comic on the aftermath, where Vas gotten pummeled into a flatbread and wobbles back to Frye saying ‘You’re despicable…’ in a Daffy Duck tone xD
Congrats on the good review! I know how hard it is to get them, especially when web comics can easily ‘break’ (as the reviewer pointed out). I agree about his comment on the artistry. It’s well done and the work put into the armor and weapons (which in WoW can be overly detailed at times) isn’t too jumbled with details, but neither is it sparse with them. It’s a comfortable level of detail for a comic in that you really can do detail, but you’re not going to make a Mona Lisa in every panel. :)

Fyre looks so pleased with herself (And perhaps Vas) in that last panel… at least I think she does. Kiinda hard to see under all that purple.

Until it’s reinforced with Shadowfrost Shards from the shattered Frozen Throne, the axe is only Shadow’s Edge. Once it’s been sealed and reforged by Darion in the Runeforge at Light’s Hammer, it becomes Shadowmourne.
